Rembrandt House Museum in Amsterdam

Rembrandt is often called the "artist of light". And He is called a self-portrait artist. That's because he showed an excellent technique of expression using light. This is because he painted his face especially much using this technique. 

But I think this is a textbook expression of him. 

I went to the Rembrandt House Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His works on display there reminded me of Rembrandt. Before Rembrandt was a genius painter who could express light and darkness, he left the most self-portraits. 

He was a painter who never forgot his own brush as if he were writing a diary. I think that's where his genius originated. The self-portrait was part of the work. 

He was a 'daily painter'.

Rembrandt House Museum is in Amsterdam the capital of the Netherlands. 

It's very easy to find because it's almost the center of the city. And the house looks so unique that you can see it easily. The Rembrandt house's windows color is orange color so that I was standing out easily.

At the entrance, his funny self-portrait was over the door, which is like a sign of a beer house.

It's a very big house, apparently or inside. It is a big house four stories high. But he also had to take out loans to buy such a house.

The painting sold well for some time, so it was able to repay interest, but it also had its limits. Eventually he went bankrupt and had to leave this house and go to another house.

Rembrandt painted the face of the assistant. It is a painting expressed in light and shadow. He was a great model for Rembrandt.

Rembrandt is an artist who especially enjoys observing people. 

His everyday life always gave him endless inspiration. He knew the importance and greatness of a day.

Rembrandt was a huge collector's maniac. From sculptures to sea shells, weapons, armor, stuffed animals and plants. there are many priceless sculptures he has collected.

He especially painted many Christian paintings. His biblical paintings show how deep he went into the Bible.
